Our first goal

A Fresh Water Well

The first goal of Echoes of Ubuntu is to build a fresh water well for the Batwa community in Uganda. This single well will give up to five hundred people access to clean, safe water—something they currently live without. Today, many Batwa women and children walk as far as five miles each day, often barefoot, to collect water that is not even safe to drink. This is not just a small gesture. It is the beginning of real change. Access to fresh water will improve health, restore dignity, and allow girls to attend school instead of spending their days searching for water. It is the first step in a promise to do better, together.
